I purchased this off of customer review. Never smelled it, was pleasantly surprised. No need to layer this, goes on very strong. It does taper off through out the day. I didnt feel the need to reapply. I smell chocolate in the fragrance...yummy.

I don't usually like floral scents, but this one is a winner. It's not too sweet and it's very long lasting. Only drawback is it's expensive, so may not be appropriate for daily use

I bought a sample of this perfume awhile back and it had tremendous hints of sandalwood and earthiness. I loved it. It lasted a long time too which was nice. I bought this larger vessel of the fragrance and it was more floral and sweeter than I like. It lasts awhile but does not smell anything like the sample I fell in love with. I mean, it's not bad or anything, just different than what I had wanted.

I thought i liked the "gold" Tom Ford's fragrance, but i have found a new elegant scent that compliments the "gold" Tom Ford fragrance. The Black Orchid Voile De Fleur is magical, sensual, lovely, and elegant. It seems to last longer than most and has a unique and very feminine scent. I am enjoying wearing it daily or for special occasions. ( I don't want too many people to love it... I want to keep it a secret if you know what i mean- which is the best compliment).

I wear Black Orchid everyday and I love it! I am always stopped by men and women on the name of the fragrance I am wearing. I spray it on at 6:00 AM and still receive compliments at 6:00 PM. I have no complaints. It is one of the most delicious fragrances I have ever worn.

I like this perfume a good bit, but probably not more than I like Opium, or Spellbound, or some of the other spicy florals. I have dozens of fragrances, and I am always on the look-out for somthing truly unique. This is a good one but not to die for. After its top notes fade, the middle notes smell like "Fracas." I will wear it for everyday, -- not that special Christmas party.

When you 1st spray it on, it seems too strong. But, just WAIT until it 'calms down.' It is a BEAUTIFUL scent! And you don't need much. Does not smell like a cheap perfume...very elegant. I've been stopped by many people and asked what I'm wearing. Really unique & rich! LIKE NOTHING YOU'VE EVER WORN BEFORE!
