Though this is a old fragrance probaly dating back as far as the late 1960s it still somewhat pricey and hard to find. A couple of high end stores sales this product[...]usually a fragrance of this age is heavily discounted and can be found in discount store. It must be the BOMB! if they can still sale it at this price!!! I love the fragrance and it never goes unnoticed. The lasting effect is almost ETERNAL! I get just as many compliments at the end of the day as I do in the begining of the day. This is my signature scent!! Men go CRAZY!!! over this fragrance. I must have the optimal pheromones that really work well with this product.I highly recommend testing it with your pheromones. The most wonderful smelling body cream but it is not made the way it used to be made. I have worn it for over 20 years and you used to be able to turn the jar upside down and it wouldn't come out. Great scent for people who don't like flowery scents, which I don't. I've been using Opium for years and always receive compliments. Most other perfumes do not smell good on me, but this one always has. I love it!

I originally got Opium as a gift and thought it was much stronger then my usual perfumes. But after using it and getting so many compliments I definitely make sure I never run out. Opium is my first "real" perfume that I have ever used. I started to use it in high School, and I have been using it ever since. What is so great about it is.... well it goes great with my body chemsitry, and people tend to compliment me when I am wearing. It compliments the body lotion I wear. In addition, I do not have to refresh myself with the fragrance often. I do prefer different seasonal fragrances now. However, it seems like I always turm back to the Opium.

An added benefit to this wonderful scent is the fact that in the 20+years I have been a respiratory therapist, dealing with patients who have unfavorable reactions to perfumes I have never had a patient have a problem with Opium.
