I am disappointed in this fragrance! It is not at all like I remember
the original "Champagne!" I used to get compliments all the time
on "Champagne," but fail to get a single compliment now!

Years ago I came across a few samples of "Champagne" but never had a chance to buy a bottle because it was discontinued by the time I had looked for it. I always got huge compliments when I wore the stuff and it's especially nice on hot summer days. I searched for the scent again throughout the years and was really excited to find it surfaced again under a different name. It smells exactly the way I remembered it. I'm looking forward to wearing it this Spring, the scent carries so nicely in the breeze.

I was happy to find this fragrance one again. I was disapointed to see that the picture and the product that was sent is not exactly the same. It is missing the metal around the top. I guess the one in the picture is the eau de parfume?

Just got this and it smells delicious. A very elegant scent. Don't spray on too heavily, and it smells best after it's been on for a while. As it mixes and mingles with your body chemistry, it seems to soften, or at least that's what it did with me. Smells very inviting, love it.

I have had a small bottle of Champagne for several years and it STILL smells great! I bought
another larger size, and only use it for special occasions like parties, Christmas, birthdays. Never even knew the name had changed til today!
It really does have that bubbly quality like champagne, and is very fresh & clean smelling. Leave it to the French: they really know how to make perfume! Not for "little girls" though! Just
real women.

I discover this fragrance when it was called Champagne and fell in love with it's scent. It last and the makes me feel very sensual when I am wearing it. I lost track of it when the name changed to Yvress, until I stumbled into a fragrance shop and asked if they had every heard of Champagne and the one girl who was waiting on me said no, but the manager of the shop said yes that the reason why I couldn't find it as Champagne was that Yves St. Laurant had to change the name due to patent infringement of Champagne and that it was now call Yvress. So every since then I have been in seventh heaven. I have a my signature fragrance back. It is the only fragrance I can truly say last all day and it's scent is very very sensual to me anyway. I must say that I find nothing at all wrong with it except not being able to find it for a while.

I loved Champagne. When I found out they were no longer making this, I went to outlet venues to buy up what I could. I have saved a few drops for years. I was a little skeptical when ordering, that this would be exactly what I remember, but it is!!! My old friend is back!! Can seem strongly sweet at first, but let mix and mingle. This lasts all day, or evening out, wear it for yourself, but those you let get close will also enjoy it!

I thought I would like this perfume because everything I've ever smelled from YSL has not disappointed me and it got rave reviews here. However, I was not impressed with this scent. It was too powdery and strong. It kind of reminded me of "old lady perfume". If you like powdery scents then you'll probably like it if not please steer clear.

What a heavenly smell Yvresse is! It lasts ALL DAY and linger softly on clothing. It's a wonderful scent for winter, as well as, summer. This has been my favorite perfume for the last 12 years and always be my signature perfume. However, I miss the old bottle---it was so lovely. The newer bottle is not very pretty--but what's inside will knock your socks off!

I have been wearing Yvresse since it came out ( when it was called Champagne before they had to change the name for legal reasons ) It is a pretty fresh fruity chypre that starts out a bit strong but once it dries down it is wonderful. It does give you the feeling of champagne with it's effevesence. I get many compliments. I especially like to wear it in the fall.

Subtle but surrounds you in a light, almost imperceptable scent that has complete strangers coming up and asking, "What are you wearing? That smells absolutely wonderful." Hint of oriental spices, smooth not overpowering and a hit with both children and those grown up masculine types in power suits and blackberries. On those days I feel nothing is going right, one spray and all is right with the world. Practically, the smaller 2oz keeps it fresh and no worries it will go bad before you finish the bottle. Try it.
