I use perfume on a daily basis, and like it to last all day, even if it has more of an evening appeal to others. I like Oriental/Spicy and Woody/Earthy. I couldn't really detect any of the over/undertones, such as ginger, magnolia, musk that it is supposed to have. This fragrance by YSL is just much too weak and is very short-lived for my tastes. I much prefer the original OPIUM fragrance. Of course, this is all a personal preference.

For those of us who like Opium.. opium is opium perfect every time. If you never tried, try it, you will love it. Every time I am wearing, I get stopped and ask.. what are you wearing, smells so good. Great, long lasting, spicy, oriental...Love it!!!

This is the best out of all the various Opium flanker fragrances that have been introduced in recent years. It's got that classic Opium fragrance as a base yet it's softer, lighter, a touch powdery (which I like), and very appropriate for warmer months. There's a note that's been added that gives the classic Opium a bit of freshness and light - love this!
